Why Do You Weep?

Why Do You Weep?

Inspired by a passage in the bible (John 20:15) where Jesus asks a crowd of grieving women why they are weeping.

Detailing of fragrant flowers, candles and leaves, representing thought and compassion.

The representative form of the artwork is inspired by tradtional byzentine iconograpy.
