This limited edition print is one of an exciting new series of birds and insects. Each is signed and numbered (limited edition of 50) and is printed using high quality pigment-based archival inks on fine art watercolour paper, embellished with gold leaf highlights representing the light shimmering from feathers and wings.  
 
The Hummingbird's ability to hover in mid-air and even fly backwards makes it a very special bird indeed! Sadly, you will have to travel to Central or South America if you wish to see one. As an alternative, look out for Hawkmoth which hovers in a similar way and which is common in Europe ín the summertime.

The print has outside measurement of 24cm x 20cm including surrounding border.
