This limited edition print is one of an exciting new series of birds and insects. Each is signed and numbered (limited edition of 50) and is printed using high quality pigment-based archival inks on fine art watercolour paper, embellished with gold leaf highlights representing the light shimmering from feathers and wings.  

This Curlew artwork was inspired by views of the wading birds in wetlands in North Norfolk on one of Michelle's frequent visits. Its long downward curved beak is ideal for slurping up morsels from the muddy Norfolk creeks, whilst it's piercing ('cur-lee') call is unmistakeable.

The print has outside measurement of 24cm x 20cm including surrounding border.
