The Orange-tipped Butterfly

The Orange-tipped Butterfly

Michelle's series of original artworks present a contemporary interpretation of much loved British birds and insects. Her meticulous choice of fabrics emphasize textures and colours, providing a surprisingly fresh interpretation on well known garden favourites as well as less common species.

The orange-tipped butterfly enjoys damp habitats such as  meadows, woodland glades, and river banks, but is often found in gardens too, settling briefly to enjoy a drink of sweet nectar from abundant flowerheads.
