This limited edition print is one of an exciting new series of birds and insects. Each is signed and numbered (limited edition of 50) and is printed using high quality pigment-based archival inks on fine art watercolour paper, embellished with gold leaf highlights representing the light shimmering from feathers and wings.  

The northern Lapwing can be identified by its greenish back and upwards-curved crest. Its frequent calling in the breeding season gives the bird its alternative common name of the Peewit.

The print has outside measurement of 24cm x 20cm including surrounding border.
