The Silver Goose

The Silver Goose

Michelle's series of original artworks present a contemporary interpretation of much loved British birds and insects. Her meticulous choice of fabrics emphasize textures and colours, providing a surprisingly fresh interpretation on well known garden favourites as well as less common species.

Migratory wild geece are often used in stories and folklore to signify change and transition.  Here the silver goose is conveyed flying purposefully across a stretch of deep blue water bounded by an inviting-looking sandy beach, whilst billowing clouds can be seen hurrying by.
