Though the sun is shining, it is still not rising very high above the horizon and it's effects remain weak. A chilly north wind seems able to penetrate winter coats and even Ronnie, who normally never seems to tire of scampering about on woodland walks, looks ready to turn back early today and return to the warmth of his rug by the hearth.
